David Jackson

David Jackson is Executive Chairman of ESSMarine group, bringing 30+ years in the Middle East across safety, energy, and sustainable marine solutions. A former emergency services professional turned strategic leader, he has helped shape ESSMarine’s focus on zero-emission vessels, innovation, and high-impact partnerships.

Masoud Al Ameri

Mr. Masoud brings over three decades of management experience, with a strong background in managing various LNG & LPG carriers and expertise in gas technology. As Chairman of the company, he is responsible for driving the overall strategy, innovation, and growth.

Bjørn Utgård

Bjørn is a Norwegian cleantech engineer and entrepreneur whose 18-year international career is committed to accelerating the transition to zero-emission energy and mobility.



 

He has helped governments, utilities and investors implement policies and strategies to promote electrification and has a proven track record of transforming innovative ideas into successful products and businesses.



 

Bjørn has served as VP Sales at EV charging industry leader EVBox, and recently led Norwegian waterborne mobility start-up Hyke to successfully launch its all-new electric water shuttle.

Chief Operations Officer

Magnus Bergkvist Sørensen

A Danish sustainable mobility expert with a Danish Navy background, Magnus offers 15 years of global expertise in supply chain, logistics, and last-mile delivery, emphasizing efficiency and customer service.
 
With a background spanning maritime, offshore, logistics and electric mobility, he combines deep supply chain skills with a builder’s mindset - turning technology ideas into operational, revenue-generating services.
 
At ESS Marine he leads program and project delivery, builds the operational playbook and ensures that every project is designed for reliability, lifecycle performance and commercial success.

Chief Naval Architect

Ola Lilloe‑Olsen

Since graduating from the University of Glasgow, Ola Lilloe-Olsen has been a vanguard of maritime design. His career spans over four decades, marked by the establishment of Norway’s first private commercial hydrodynamic test center and the design of more than 130 vessels that ply the seas worldwide.
 
Ola’s designs are a testament to his philosophy of "Proven Ocean Space Design," seamlessly blending seakeeping performance with environmental stewardship. 
 
His latest triumph, the emission-free High-Speed Catamarans, showcases a unique hull design that harmonizes high-speed efficiency with the heavy demands of battery and hydrogen propulsion.
